At Dragonfly we believe in doing our best to reduce our ecological footprint.

• Reduce, our consumption of disposable products and try and use sustainable and reusable ones
• Reuse, upcycle and repurpose items like furniture
• Recycle materials that can’t be reused

Recycling

Household recycling is available on site.

Reduce waste

The kitchen is equipped with reusable containers and beeswax wrap so that you don’t need to bring disposable saran wrap. 

The tap water is world class so there is no need to bring bottled water.

Composting

We provide a bear resistant compost bin onsite.

Walking

West Bamfield has a walking culture. We do have a vehicle to assist you with arrival and departures and trips to the store if needed.
